Established in 1974, Dan Liris is an integrated textile and garment manufacturer based in Solo, Central Java, serving both domestic and international markets. The concept of this project originated from Dan Liris’s identity and its commitment to the people behind its production.
Designed as a communal space for workers to eat, rest, gather, and participate in social activities, the building provides a welcoming setting away from the production environment. Its architectural expression is inspired by textiles, with curved roof forms resembling layers of draped fabric and a patterned façade reflecting the interwoven character of threads.
