The concept of GNS Cafe & Villa originated from the idea of creating a sanctuary for hikers and visitors that integrates naturally with the landscape of Gunung Salak. The building follows the site’s topography through a series of terraced levels, with green roofs and lush vegetation allowing each layer to blend into its surroundings. The main villa occupies the uppermost level beneath distinctive triangular roof forms, offering panoramic views of the forest.
Below, the restaurant and cafe open onto landscaped terraces, creating an immersive outdoor dining experience. Parking and supporting facilities are placed at ground level, where stone walls reinforce the building’s connection to the land. The overall design creates a cohesive retreat that respects the terrain and complements the natural character of Gunung Salak.
