Located in South Jakarta, Yen Gunawarman is a bar and dining venue conceived around the interplay of solidity, void, light, and shadow. The centre of the façade is recessed to frame the upper level, while a perforated screen creates a pixelated effect that transforms throughout the day. Its contrast with the solid outer walls gives the façade a sense of weightlessness, as though it hovers above the entrance.
Inside, the ground-floor bar combines refined materials, polished marble counters, and individually suspended pendant lights to create an intimate atmosphere. The upper floor houses a collection of private VIP rooms, each designed with its own distinctive character to offer guests a more exclusive dining experience.
